big gap in your bible story

Creation. Fall. Redemption. Restoration.

Maybe you’ve heard it before. I don’t know how long it’s been around but in the religious spheres I find myself orbiting, it’s fairly hard to miss. I think perhaps it goes hand in hand with the emphasis on understanding the big picture of the bible which seems to sometimes also be paired with a sort of “sin paid for” model of the bible’s meta narrative. This post isn’t really meant to comment on that view, but only rather for pointing out that we find the fall in Genesis 3 and redemption in Matthew 27.

Which means almost 80% of the bible occurs between fall and redemption. Don’t skip over it.
